Like many therapists, I stumbled upon this path through my own pursuit of healing. I suffered for many years, completely disconnected from myself and the world around me. Fortunately, I was brought to psychotherapy and introduced to the idea that my inner world has value. As I learned to welcome and explore my emotional experience, life became more peaceful, joyful, and fulfilling. The radical impact this work has had in my life informs my passion and honor to share this wisdom with others.

I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, supporting folks struggling with suicidal ideation, eating disorders, domestic violence, houselessness, gender and sexuality questions, and “severe and persistent mental illness”. I employ a critical queer lens to this work that interrogates social norms and views self-healing as an act of social change. I believe that by taking care of ourselves we are helping to liberate collective consciousness.
